What are AI-Assisted Features?
Prisidio's AI-assisted features provides smart insights and is designed to help you better understand and manage the information stored in your Vault.
When enabled, smart insights analyze supported documents added to a Collection, generate document summaries, highlight key takeaways, and enhance search by searching against AI-generated document summaries, making it easier to locate information stored in your Vault.
These features and suggestion are optional; accept what is useful and dismiss the rest. and can be enabled or disabled at any time.
How to enable AI-Assisted Features
Select the gear icon to access Vault Settings
Choose AI-Assisted Features from the left menu
Set your preference to On/ Off.
Currently, smart insights are only applicable to the following documents:
How Do AI-Assisted Features Work?
AI-assisted features are triggered whenever a supported document is added to a Collection.
You will see smart suggestions on the right panel of the supported document that you have selected or through your vault dashboard under Suggested Tasks.
There are two ways to trigger AI-assisted features:
Add an Existing Document
If a supported document is already stored in your Vault, simply add it to a Collection. AI-assisted features will analyze the document, generate a summary, and identify key takeaways.
Upload a New Document
You can also upload a supported document directly into a Collection from your computer or mobile device. Once the document has been added, AI-assisted features will automatically analyze the document, generate a summary, and identify key takeaways.
Both methods work the same way and trigger AI-assisted features.
Important: Uploading a supported document directly to your Vault (outside of a Collection) does not trigger AI-assisted features.
What Do AI-Assisted Features Provide?
For supported documents, AI-assisted features can:
Generate a concise summary of the document.
Highlight key takeaways based on the document's contents.
Enhance Vault search by searching against AI-generated document summaries, making it easier to locate information stored in your Vault.
Smart Insights currently support the following document types:
Birth Certificate
Driver's License
Health Insurance Card
Passport
Social Security Card
Support for additional document types will be added in future releases.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to use Collections for AI- Assisted Features to work?
Yes. AI-assisted features are only triggered when a supported document is added to a Collection.
What if my document is already in my Vault?
No problem. Simply add the existing document to a Collection, and AI-assisted features will analyze it, generate a summary, and identify key takeaways.
Can I upload a new document directly to a Collection?
Yes. Uploading a supported document directly into a Collection also triggers AI-assisted features.
Does uploading a document directly to my Vault trigger AI-assisted features?
No. Supported documents must be added to a Collection for AI-assisted features to analyze them.
Will AI-assisted features modify my Vault?
No. AI-assisted features analyze supported documents, generate summaries, highlight key takeaways, and enhance search. It cannot automatically modify the contents of your Vault.
