      Secure and Convenient Access with Passkeys

      At Prisidio, security is at the heart of everything we do. Passkeys offer a modern, password-free way to log in that significantly reduces the risks of phishing, password leaks, and unauthorized access. Whether you're using our web or mobile apps, passkeys let you log in securely with your device's biometrics or a compatible password manager—ensuring that only you can access your vault, effortlessly and securely.

      What are the key benefits of Passkeys?

      • No password required. You can use biometrics or a compatible password manager to gain access to your vault.
      • Passkeys can work across all devices.
      • Offers stronger protection against phishing attacks.

      How to Create a Passkey

      1. Log into Prisidio with your username, password, and preferred secondary authentication method.

      After logging in, you’ll be presented with an option to create a passkey or continue without passkey.

      2. Opting to Create a Passkey

      You will be prompted to select how you want to set up your passkey. The options include:

      • Use a password manager (if one is installed on the device).
      • Use a different platform/device, such as an iPhone, iPad, or Android device.

      3. Choosing Your Setup Method:

      iPhone, iPad, or Android Device: 

      • Turn on Bluetooth on your device.
      • Scan the QR code displayed on your computer screen.
      • You will be prompted to save the passkey. The passkey will be stored in your chosen security app.
      • You may be prompted to use Face ID or another biometric method to authenticate and save the passkey.
      • Click "Continue" to finalize.
      • Once complete, you will see a prompt: "You can now use your device to sign in to [URL]." Click "Ok" to finish.

      Password Manager (if one is installed on your computer)

      • Just follow the on-screen instructions.

      How to Log in using Passkey

      1. Go to Log in page.

      2. Select "Continue with a passkey".

      3. You’ll be prompted to choose: Sign in with your passkey using the password manager installed on your computer, or use another device (iPhone, iPad, or Android device).

      • Turn on Bluetooth on your device, scan the QR code displayed on the screen, and click Sign in with a passkey. 
      4. Authenticate with Biometrics: Select the passkey account you with to log in with, then use Face ID or another supported biometric method to authenticate and complete the login process.
